KIDS CAN SAVE
We understand that teaching kids about energy – where energy comes from, how to conserve it and how to stay safe around it - is an important part of raising our kids to be leaders of tomorrow.
To help accomplish that, PNG has partnered with the Northern Environmental Action Team (NEAT) to deliver the “Energy is Awesome” program to elementary school students.
NEAT is a not-for-profit society active in PNG’s Fort St. John and Dawson Creek service areas and already delivers an environmental education program in schools in the Peace Region. NEAT will also be delivering the "Energy is Awesome" program in the PNG-West area.
PNG’s "Energy is Awesome" is a short program on the sources of natural gas as well as electricity, safety around both natural gas and electrical equipment, and ideas on why and how to conserve these forms of energy.
